carla p Will this jacket work for skiing/snowboarding? I know it will be warm, but is it water-resistant/water-proof, and able to move in?
NICOLE P Very warm and light weight. Won't be a problem to move around in. Jacket size does run a little tight but it wasn't a problem for me. The label says it's coated to be waterproof but I have yet to actually test it out.
ERICA E Yes, it is a great jacket for winter activities and it is water-proof. I mean it can't be submerged in water but water and snow repell off. The only thing is it is a very warm jacket so if you tend to work up a sweat when you are skiing, you might want to consider a lighter jacket. It moves great and is extremely warm if you are skiing in very cold climate. I live in Minnesota and it is very windy here so this jacket is perfect for that kind of wintery blast!!
JON E I don't know about waterproof. But all the rest is yea.
JACIE B I wear it for skiing and have no problems with flexibility and skiing. I am not positive it is water proof but do have to say that I didn't notice being chilly or wet at any time. Great jacket that isn't bulky and still warm. I bought it for the feminine cut and look.
ELIZABETH G Haven't worn it skiing but is exceptionally warm and really easy to move in. Water resistant to normal wear.
NICOLE D I purchased this jacket last year for skiing and it was very warm. I do not ski on rainy/snowy days so I did test the waterproof ability of the coat. It is definitely much warmer than my old North Face which was more of a traditional ski jacket. It is also very stylish, I bought the white and received many compliments. The jacket is not overly bulky for a down coat, I had no trouble moving around as well as buckling my kids ski boots and helping them get ready for skiing!
FRANKLIN H My wife did not try it yet but the jacket looks cool to me and my wife really likes it!
