(unknown) ( Wondering how folks are finding this bag? I'm 6"4" and looking for an affordable lightweight compressible 3 season bag to use in backcountry New Zealand huts and on a backpacking trip through India. Please advise. Thanks!
ROBERT S I'm 6'6" and the bag is long enough, plenty of room. The full length zipper is nice and it is lightweight and compressible. But, I do not recommend it for 3 season. I just had it out in the Florida Everglades mid Jan. and it got down to 49 degrees F and I was cold. I had to put on Thermasilk top and Montbell EX Light down jacket and socks. I would call it a summer bag at best 60 degrees and above.
SEA YOUNG R I'm 5"11", and the long was about a foot longer than my height - so should be able to fit you. That said, it is extremely thin, therefore isn't suitable for any amount of cold weather. I usually use it inside a mummy type bag for extra warmth.
Hope this helps.
HARRISON S I am 6' 1" and the bag will zip over my head so the long version (which is what i have) should fit you fine. Warmth wise it is great! It really does a good job with the 3 "zones" and seems pretty durable. I think as long as you have a decent sleeping pad this will be great for 3 season use. It also rolls up well and easily fits in my pack.
