I don't do purses but when I need to pack a few things or my iPad, this fits the bill. It looks like a messenger bag and not a purse. I like the soft zippered pocket for my phone or glasses. I like the compartments too. Holds plenty without being heavy. I wore my last one out. Zippered flap is a nice addition from the previous model for chapstick or mints; items you want accessable. This is nowhere near the size of a typical messenger bag but that's what I like about it.

We were planning a trip to Italy and I needed the equivelant of a "man purse". I decided that something light to carry everything in one place would be good. After wading through all the other sites, I eventually went to messanger bags. I haven't gone on my trip yet but I know this will work well.
