This works great! Nice way to save weight & have a good cup of Joe on the trail. I use this w/ a stainless steel cup & steep the coffee on my MSR SuperFly Stove.

This is a quality product like everything else MSR supplies. It is apparently made in Germany.
The lid will not stay on, Used duct tape on the inner rim to hold the lid on.
It will perch on the top edges of a 3 1/2" cup like the Snow Peak Titanium 450. I am going to use the Snow Peak 600 which the Mugmate will just drop right into the cup so I am using a Spring Clip on each side of the mug mate to perch it on the top rim of the cup.
