Midland ER102 Crank Radio is perfect for Severe Weather Survival. The Radio has Automatic Alert that warns you of Hazardous Conditions. Radio has 7 Preset Weather Channels with a Frequency Band of 162.400 to 162.550 MHz and AM/FM Frequency: AM 530 to 1700 KHz and FM 87.9 to 108.1 MHz. Radio is equipped with an Alert Override automatically switches from AM/FM to warn you of hazardous conditions. There are 3 Alert Types of Visual Display, Voice or Flashlight. The Flashlight Visual Alert is advantageous for the Hearing Impaired.
The Midland ER102 has 4 Sources of Power- 3 AA Alkaline Batteries, AC Adapter, Crank or Rechargeable Battery, so you will never be left without a Power Source. The Crank Recharging requires 2 TPS x 90 seconds for a 60 minute Operating Time. Radio has an Alarm Clock Function for Wake Up to Local Weather information, AM/FM or Buzz. There is a Thermometer with a Built-In Freeze Alert, Telescoping Antenna to provide Crystal Clear Reception. If it's raining or you're out on the water you can get it wet with the Water Resistant Design.
The Radio can also Recharge your Cell Phone in an Emergency with its USB Connector and the All Hazards Alert Function not only will give you Important Weather Announcements it will receive: Child Abduction Emergencies (Amber Alert), Nuclear Power Plant Warnings, Biological Hazard Warnings, Civil Emergency Messages, Fire Warnings and Landslide Warnings.
