Shopper Are these good for snowboarding, how waterproof are they?
DANIEL D I've had these gloves for about a year now. I don't snowboard or ski (bad knee), but I do go hiking quite a bit. The gloves are fairly durable. Some of the material on the fingers will get a little frizzy with use, but nothing that hurts the effectiveness of the gloves. They fit snug and allow a lot of feel and finger motion. They aren't waterproof and they're not really windproof, but their fine in a little snow or rain. They keep my hands pretty warm in temps around 40 and above. If I'm going to be out for any extended time in temps lower than that, I use something heavier, and if it's really wet out, I'll use these as a liner with an outer shell. They are very comfortable and with the mild winter we've been having this year, I wear these around town, to and from work, etc, pretty much every day. I did wash them a couple times and they held up and came out looking good. Overall, I like them and I'd buy them again.
CRAIG L They are meant more to be used as a liner. They are a (relatively) windproof fleece. I use they as a liner, or as a morning commute to work/driving glove.
WILFRIED H I use them for backcountry skitouring, when going uphill. Not for downhill. Not waterproof, but very good shape, fit very well. Breathable.
