Mountain T Please provide some guidance on the sizing of this cap. What is considered "Regular" vs "Large"? The circumference of my head, measured from the front of the forehead all the way around is approx 21-22 inches. Thanks.
DAVID M I wear a 7 1/4 hat size (22.5") and purchased the "regular" size and find it to be a good fit.

KEVIN P I bought this item months ago and I don't have anything to measure my head but all I know is I wear XL hats and this thing fits perfect at the largest size offered. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. To me it's an easy purchase though because its a great price on here and it will keep your head/ears really warm without sweating you to death. Hope this helps!

TIMOTHY M Funny you should ask. I recently went for a costume fitting as a movie extra, and found (from a site called "Village Hat Shop," how to get your hat size from measuring your head.) I have a rather large head, and, based on their instruction, my head measures 24.5" around, about 1/8" above the ear. For me, that translates to a size 7 3/4-7 5/8 size mens hat.
The ones I've bought from Sunny (and they are great hats, but my local REI didn't have one big enough for my head), are all XL. They offer them in medium, large and extra large. I'm not sure what you mean by "regular".
Based on the chart from a simple search for "how to I determine my hat size", a head that measures from 21-22 " could range from a small to a large. I'd imagine that a medium would fit well, based on what you said. So the best advice I could offer you is to go to a sporting goods store, try some hats like these on, and come back to Sunny's and order them from here. These are truly the best winter hads I've found. They cover your ears, are very warm, and, after surfing the web last January I found Sunny Sports to have the best prices. Their delivery was fast, too. And they wash well. Another great thing about them is that they are compact, and easily fit into a jscket pocket.

However, that being said, my head measures 23" and I have the XL and it fits nicely. Maybe a smidge large but not loose.
Oh yeah, I couldn't get the sizing(S-XL) to stay over its corresponding measurement but I figure you would get that.
