I purchased for my wife, who has started to have issues with her spine, hips, knees, and ankles when hiking. She was using ordinary sticks found nearby, and is so happy with the lightweight comfort of these Leki hiking sticks. The rubber tips may last only a day or two of serious use, and the studded tips are supposed to last 4 times longer. A case is nice while carrying them, or for in the car.

Use these poles in a trekking class I am taking to improve balance. They are very lightweight and perfect for a petite woman. Wish they had come with the rubber tips for walking on concrete but otherwise no complaints.
