I took this filter with me on a recent 3 day 2 night hike camping trip with 4 other people, 5 total and this is the only filter that we used for all our cooking and drinking for the whole trip. Great product and very easy to use and clean when you get home. We didn't have to clean the filter the whole trip and the water flow was great. When it says 2 and 1/2 gallons in 15 minutes that is about right. The water that we were using was fast running creek water and was clean, so dirty water would make you have to clean it more to keep good water flow. Very good product.
