CLARK A no footprint it has small loft
STEPHEN H Tent includes the tent itself, poles, rain fly, small overhead mesh for putting items inside, and stakes. It does not include the ground cover, though an inexpensive tarp seems to work well. It does not include a substantial gearloft - just a small mesh for your wallet and keys.
The fly will cover a vestibule area on both sides, but does not have a floor in that area, so you'll want a plastic garbage bag to put on the group if you left stuff outside.
I've used this tent in 3 seasons so far with 1 or 2 people, and it's one of the best. Only thing to be aware of is that the interior height is low, which might be an issue for people wanting to sit-up inside; however, this tent is clearly designed to be carried on your pack, and slept in, and it serves that purpose greatly. I use it on Boy Scout outings as an adult leader, and works great for one person, particularly as the temperature drops.

ROBERT C Hi, The Gunnison includes the gearloft but the footprint is separate. I bought it and the grommets line up perfectly with the tent for a good fit. It is heavy duty but folds small enough to stow in the carry sack with the tent. I shopped around and Sunnysport had the best price on the Gunnison.

DOUGLAS B Gunnison 2.1 Pro: An awesome 2-person tent! I have used this tent on numerous outings this year and it has consistently performed flawlessly. From high winds to heavy rains, this tent shines. I also really like the cavernous interior space (It is a real 2-person tent).
The footprint was a bonus at purchase and the gearloft was included.
If you are not an ultralight backpacker (I personally prefer the comforts of a spacious tent with built-in element protections and bug-free features), this tent deserves some serious consideration!
MARC H I have used mine twice so far. Overall I am very satisfied. It does include the footprint and gear loft however I am considering buying a better footprint...the one that came with the tent is very thin and does not provide much protection. I think this tent is a great value for the money. I have not used it in the rain yet, so that will be the next big test.

This tent is perfect for two people with enough room for your bags. Shoes, boots, and other equipment can easily be stored under the vestibules.
And the best part in my opinion, is it only takes about a minute to set up.
I definitely recommend this tent. However, if you think you may be tenting with more than just two people, I would suggest buying the three person tent.
BENJAMIN S It has a gear loft but no footprint. That needs to be purchased separately.
CODY M The gearloft is included, the footprint is not. The good footprint with the grommets as shown in most images for the 2.1 is no longer accurate. When I purchased my tent last year Kelty had swapped out this custom footprint for a more generic with no grommets. The generic one is pretty worthless for staying put and I ended up modifying the footprint and adding grommets to place the poles into to make it stay under the tent better.

RICHARD S This is a great tent. Easy to set up, sturdy in wind, light weight and the two gear vestibules and two doors (one on each side are a nice feature). Years ago I owned its predecesser the Kelty Vortex. I believe the gear loft comes standard with the Gunnison 2.1 Pro but not with the standard Gunnison 2.1. The footprint does not come standard with either one and you have to buy that separate. Shop around for the footprint if the tent supplier does not have it and you can find it at a few places for a reasonable price. I highly recommend the footprint. The Gunnison has a great floor that keeps you dry, but having the footprint protects it from sharps on the ground and helps keep moisture out too. You will not find a better tent in the price range of this Gunnison 2.1. Hope this helps.

bernard b actually i have 2 options,1 is the marmot abode,and the athor 1 is the kelty gunnison 2.1 well after i read a review from the people who bought this tent ,its thrully all around tent,im from the philippines so weather here are unpredictable,most of the time heavy rain with havy wind..well,maybe i purchase 70D ripstop nylon taffeta with 3000mm pu coating for making an improvized footprint..thanks a lot may god bless you..LNT go..green..
