RAYMOND C I believe the most obvious difference is the Kelty ESB is more like a Walk in tent than a shelter. The Carport Deluxe has two poles to allow you to use the Kelty Deluxe as a canopy as a shelter off the side of your SUV, and the Kelty ESB does not have the poles to use it as a canopy.

RAYMOND C Although it does show no doors, it has the two side panels to use to shelter you from the wind and rain in you choose to use it as a sort of tent off the side of your vehicle. You would either unhook one of the side panels from it's stake, or you can open one of your vehicle doors, sheltered by the kelty and go through that way.
