Perfect for a preschooler. Should work for kindergarten, unless the child needs a 3-inch binder (which some KG classes do use). For a 1 inch binder and a few other items, this is perfect.

I bought this so my kids could carry their own stuff around Disneyland. It is perfect!!! It has a place for water bottles on each side. It also has enough room for snacks, and a jacket. It is light weight and the kids love carrying their own stuff.

Sometimes smaller is better when it comes to having a backpack that will carry your snow skiing accessories (hat, googles, gloves, sunglasses, camera(s), etc. The major advantage it that this "kids" pack is just right to go into my season ski locker without taking up too much space. When my ski boots come out, the KELTY GROMMET pack goes in that spot. Perfect!!
