Shopper Are the dimensions listed for the Kelty Cache Pack referring to just the main pocket or the bag in it's entirety?
CURTIS S I Really Dont Know, Never Actually Put A Tape On It, Sorry... Very Happy W/Pack though, Very Comfortable, Lots Of Room For Gear..H
LARRY E I bought this pack a couple of years ago thinking I might use it in the Boundary Waters but I got a Duluth pack instead. The main compartment is about 20" high x 15" wide x 10" deep. It has a another compartment below the main one that is another 6 to 7 inches high with the same width and depth. So altogether, top to bottom you have around 26 or 27 inches of height. It is a large pack so can easily hold gear and food for several days of backpacking if you get the frame with it. Otherwise it is a good cache bag for canoe trips and general camping. I also use it for hauling my waders and fishing gear if I need to hike in to a trout stream.
JASON T It is referring to the total capacity of the entire bag.
MATTHEW Z Yes those measurements are the outside dimension of the pack. It is actually very big. It does stick up over the frame just a little when installed, also it doesn't take long to attach it to the frame. The pack is slightly larger at the top and those are the measurements they go off of ( its entirety).
