My first sleeping bag but I did my research to know that it was a good buy. The price SunnySports had was amazing, as usual. My bag is really comfortable and packs up pretty small. I am 5'7" and was worried it would be too small but it fits fine!

Perfect size for me. I'm a short man (5'4"). It can be very compact when I compress it with the special compress bag included. And it is extremely light for backpacking. It fits in the sleeping bag compartment of my backpack.

I bought it for my son in Boy Scout, but I ended up using it for myself. I'm getting two more for him and wife soon. :)

One thing my son doesn't like is that there are several places on the sleeping bag and compress bag stating "... women". But he saved some backpack space and weight with this. LOL

I'm usually a cold sleeper, and find myself wearing everything I have in my backpack in order to stay warm at night. My regular go-to sleeping bag is synthetic and quite bulky so I decided its time to buy a down bag. The lightyear packs much smaller, is lighter AND warmer too! I took it for a 3 night trip into the canadian rockies, where the temperature dropped to 25-30F every night. The sleeping bag kept me comfortable, although I was wearing double thermal layers. It was just enough.

The only thing I didn't like was that according to the specs, this bag is supposed to have a zipper at the feet, but mine (women's version) doesn't have one. Maybe the regular bag has one? I would have liked the option of sticking my feet out and walk out of the tent without getting out of my bag.

I'm 5'3 and the bag fits perfectly. I definitely recommend it, and perhaps I may get a waterproof compression sack in the future.
