Hello, We are looking for a good sleeping bag for our 1 year old (well she will be 1 in July when we are planning on camping). We are concerned that by having extra room at the bottom of the bag then heat will not stay in and the "mummy" aspect will not be able to function as well. Do you think this bag will fit our needs? If not, do you have any other suggestion? We had thought about getting a bag that could possibly zip together with one of our bags (Slumberjack mummy bags). What do you think of that idea? Thank you for all your help. Collette
This should work well for your child. July temps rarely drop to 40 unless your up high. I might include a very light blanket for a wrap or pillow. The way this bag is made, it"s good down to the high 30s. again, depending on the child.
