Shopper Is this made for women? I was told at REI that 0F for men is perhaps the equivalence of 15F for women?
NEAL L As a thinly built male, I can agree that this bag is closer to 15F. I have only camped in ~30F and this bag was on the verge of not being warm enough. Using a sleeping bag liner, it could work in 15F, but I wouldnt believe any lower.
DAN R Yes, that is true. The box actually says 17 degrees for women...so it's important to buy a 0 degree woman's bag if you can.

I bought my Cosmic down sleeping bag for a trip up Kilimanjaro and it was PERFECT. It is warm, comfortable, fits me very nicely (Im 5'1") and great for all temperatures. It is a 0' bag, but I have also used it on weekend camping trips year round. Im not sure about the Men to women conversion, but I highly recommend this sleeping bag!!
CLINTON A This is true, guys sleep warmer then women do. Kelty makes the same 0 degree style but for women that my wife owns. From what I can tell the only difference is they have more down in the foot area. So if you have cold feet at night make sure to get the women's bag. If not the men's would work fine. If it's not below 10 degrees outside my bag is to hot for me to even fully sleep in. It is a very very warm sleeping bag.

SARA B i've used this sleeping bag in +10 degrees and was a little chilly, but i also had too many layers on. i would say that it is comfortable down to 10-15 degree range. Overall a great bag for what i need it for, lightweight and compactable...it's smaller than my purse when i put it in my compression sack.

DEXTER R You can read articles online about ratings across all manufactures. Most of them do the basis reading for men, but most women have different comfort zones (typically higher than men). The rating would probably be around 10-20 degrees higher for women.
