Comments about Kelty Coromell 0F 550-fill Down Sleeping Bag - Long Size:

This sleeping bag was to replace a very heavy "car camping" sleeping bag that was for very cold weather - my old one was warm, but weighed about 15 lb! For those fall hunting trips when I'm either camping from a car, ATV, or on horseback, that was fine, but it was useless for backpacking. The Kelty not only does the job of the older, heavier model, but it's light enough for backpacking as well, which I also do in the Fall (and it gets very cold in the mornings high up in the Bridger National Forest in Wyoming...). However, if you are taller than about 6'3", you should try one out in the store to make sure you fit- I'm 6'3" and while I do fit inside, it's just barely long enough (and I got the 'long' version). Very roomy and comfortable though - highly recommended.
