I retired from the Army after 21 years so I know how to pack a duffle bag! Since retiring, I have not been able to find a bag that is as durable as the ones the Army provides. That search is now over! My job now is civilian contractor for the Government and I make monthly trips overseas, often times with flak vest and kevlar helmet. this bag holds all my tactical gear and my clothing for 10 days easily. I usually put the flak vest and kevlar in the drop bottom area and that keeps the center of gravity balanced perfectly when your rolling through an airport terminal or sand and gravel to get to your temporary housing. The bigger sized wheels help a lot in that respect as well. The bright orange is easy to spot on the baggage claim platform also!!!

The wheels of this product could not stand up to moderate loading and a 2 week trip to Europe, and were splaying out after a single transatlantic trip, presumably due to baggage handling.
