MICHAEL B i don't know what yyk is, but everything on these vests is heavy duty. i own three or four of them, use them in work every day to carry tools and small parts, and i love these things. very rugged.

CHRIS E Not sure exactly what YYK means, but the zippers all appear very solid. The zipper teeth are noticeably larger than other jacket zippers in my closet.
Honestly if I had it to do again, I might go with one of the vests from Tiberius or a photography vest like Filson, or even an Orvis zambesi vest. There's nothing wrong with the Humvee but the pocket arrangement is not ideal, some of the pockets are so small they're not much use.
I really liked the Cabela's safari vest, except it was too heavy to wear in warm weather.

Jacob S The Humvee Safari Travel Vest (large) hangs about 3 inches below my waist. I am about 5'8", of medium build, so they fit very well. I have been buying these vests for several years for myself and for my geophysical field crews. I have never run out of pockets to place field equipment (GPS's, electrodes, hand tools, wire, clips, and other items). The vests are sturdy in construction, and last a long time. I highly recommend them
KEMP F I have an XL. It hangs about 3 inches below the belt and fits full. It conceals my pistol and comms which is all I needed.
DAVID H It is a very usefull vest ,I use mine fishing, Quading, hiking ect. It hangs down about 6 inches below belt line.
Sue M does this vest have side pockets for your hands as well as all the other cargo pockets? I can't tell from the pic.

BILLY S Yes Sue it does have side pockets for your hands. They are not deep like you would find with a coat. With all the other pockets I don't even use the side pockets.

CHRIS E This vest has side pockets for your hands, but they are very small. Too small to be much use, really. If you picture your arm with a wristwatch on, when you stick your hand in the side pocket it won't go in far enough to get the wristwatch inside the pocket.

KEMP F From what I recall when I purchased the vest it matched my expectations on color. I was really only looking for khaki and that is what I got. I have worn this vest on many assignments and have washed it frequently. It does have a "normal" wrinkle to it that is no problem for me. I do not like the sharp and creased look anyway. It does hold its size and has sufficient room to conceal what I need concealed on my belt. I have worn it in deserts and downtown London with no issues about fitting in. I found it well worth the money.

KEMP F The back of the vest is 30 inches from the collar to the bottom of the tail. It hangs just a bit shorter than a sport coat on me.

THOMAS S It comes below the waist and just above the butt. I have used it for travel overseas and it works great to conceal passports & money. I also have used it for concealed carry of a handgun.
STEPHEN M The XX-Large hangs about even with the bottom of pants pocket openings. Also would depend upon the weight carried in the extensive lower pocket capacity.

RAYMOND B My 2XL vest comes just below beltline. I don't think it would conceal a hip holster. It does a reason job covering an in-waistband holster.

PETER S Vest has a 5 and 1/2 inch long slit on each side. Thus, while vest is long enough to conceal an object hung from a belt worn inside it, the slits would likely make anything larger than a cell phone visible>

MICHAEL B there is one large back pocket. this is generally called a game pocket. hunters would use this to put a duck in.
RICHARD B There is one large cargo pocket across the back. I don't know how accessible it would be while wearing the vest, though. Also, the LH pocket has 2 open top pockets, one behind the other. Hope this helps.

BILLY S There is a large two snap pocket in rear of vest that will hold a Nalgene water bottle.
The many pockets on this vest make it great. I wear it shooting and hiking.

SunnySports S In my opinion I think that one of the pockets is large enough to fit an iPad. I can't be sure because I don't have an iPad myself. Judging by just looking at the pocket it seems large enough though. Stay safe and have fun out there! Neal
