Just returned from 8 days of canoe camping in Quetico Park, Ontario. Two days into the experience our stove broke, so we did all our cooking over an open fire. The kettle performed just fine. The cookset is light, but not fragile. I am pleased.

I have carried a ketttle for years when backpacking and winter skiing. This is pretty cool with nestling cup, bowl and spoon inside the kettle. The cup and bowl are also graduated for measuring fluids. Since I carry freeze dried meals and raman when camping, this is my kitchen. It worked very well.
