BRETT S It will work on an electric range (or any concentrated source of heat). I have really enjoyed using this thing.
HILLARY R yes, i concur with alan p. - there is sputtering on the stove, but easy to wipe up with a sponge quicky.
ALAN P The espresso maker works best with a good and hot fire. I haven't tried it with an electric range, but I presume with its solid metal construction that it would work there very well. I would warn that there can be a bit of sputtering that might make a bit of a mess on an indoor stove.
