My husband & I have had a totally different style of concert chairs that we have used over the past 6 years for going to music festivals. They were a totally pain to use and really uncomfortable to sit in. Bummer all around.

This year we decided to splurge on new chairs - the Wilderness Recliner. Well, after the first concert use, we decided to not only pitch the old concert chairs, but also the full size folding chairs we had around the campsite. The positioning and height makes for great comfort. Definitely worth the investment.

Bought this to use at a bluegrass festival (haven't gone yet) because we needed low chairs to sit up front. These looked alot more comfortable than my somewhat stretched out woven chairs and they are!...look to be easy to pack in (tried them on my back, didn't have anything poking or jabbing and they are lightweight). Didn't have any trouble with adjusting as some reviews said, seems easy and durable. Only drawback i can see is during rain they may stay wet alot longer (because they are well supported there is no where for water to drain) and i hope they don't rust.

I was looking for a good, comfortable chair mainly for using at my nearby beach and backyard. The Wilderness Recliner has been perfect! Very high quality, easy to carry, relatively lightweight for being "luxurious". It carries very nicely for short walks and highly sturdy for long term use. I look forward to possibly purchasing other products in the GCI line!
