BRIAN A Not really, it is a square and is not cut to the tent. It is cut just big enough for the tent.
It is better than a blue tarp. And the tent does need one. But it is not a nice perfect fit like alot of Rei/North Face, Marmot tents.

RON F NO this one is a little bigger....There is one made specifically for the forte sq 2 so you can have the option to use just the fly, poles, and footprint to make a shelter.

HARLAN K I'm only familiar with the Apex 2XT, however you could compare your forte's dimensions (length x width) with the Apex 2XT's dimensions and you would know for sure.
DONALD G Our scout troop only uses the Apex 2XT tents, and I know that they fit this footprint pretty well.
