JACOB R Shane it is a right side zipper and no snagging so far for me. I have used it on two different backpacking trips. I am 5'10" and still have several inches to spare in the footbox. Only owed for about a year but am very happy with material and seems to be made well. Also my last trip got down to the low 20's and I stayed warm inside a Northface tent and cheap mat. Jacob

GERRY G I am 5-10 and it fits me fine.. it zips all the way up for me but has a tendency to snag on the fabric. The zipper is only on the outside unlike some bags that have it inside and out so that u can zip it up from within. If you zip it slowly you can keep it from snagging. I just got it so could not tell you how long it lasts. I got it as a backup and because it rolls up small.

JAMES C The zipper is on the right side, as you are laying on your back. The overall length is exactly six foot, an it is 64" from the very bottom of the opening to the toe of the bag. The zipper has not snagged on me yet, but I have only used it a couple of times. It is warm and weighs practically nothing, so it packs nicely. Now the down side; if you are anything else but a strict back-sleeper, this bag is VERY cramped around the shoulders. I wear a 42" coat and I am a side sleeper, so for me it has not worked out as well as I had hoped. I hope this helps.
