Comments about Downright Voyager 0F Down Mummy Sleeping Bag:
I bought one of these bags a couple of years ago and it has been great. So, I bought 2 more for my sons. The new ones have the collar that is supposed to be near your neck, 5 inches lower, around the upper arm. The inside of the bag no longer fits a 6foot tall person.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

For the survival rating, I think 0F is accurate, but not for the comfort rating. Though I believe the comfort rating is closer than other bags I own.My issue is that it leaked down my first time out. I took it out to Zion early November (each night was anywhere from -2C to -5C) and my very first night I slept with a light fleece jacket and some light polyester compression pants, late into the night I had to put on my wool pants). I was warm enough, but I woke up the next morning with a significant amount of feathers attached to my fleece jacket. I estimated somewhere between 30-50 feathers were on my jacket each night (4 nights). Which given my 20 and 40F sleeping bags have never leaked on me, I would say that's a lot.To summarize, I like a warm sleeping bag, but I would rather not lose so many feathers the first time out.*I would like to note that prior to the trip, I stored this sleeping bag in a 6 gallon sleeping bag storage bag that was made for one of my other down sleeping bags. and I did not use the compression straps provided.

I returned this bag
from Southern california
Well right out if the box I wasn't too impressed. It did not loft up even as I shook it n left it out in the open. The material outside seemed scratchy n low end the inside seemed o k. The stching n zippers seemed cheap like they might rip with normal use and I wasn't happy with how the hood cinched up.all that said I didn't get to use it so I'm not sure about the temp rating or warmth but the best advise I could give is go to a retailer and chk out some of the other big name bags that sunnysport has and see them in person then come back and place your order.I'm investing about55 mor bux n getting the kelty light year0f bag. They are amazing in person n I'm sure I made a better choice with that one, problem is with dnright I tried to find reviews b3 I purchased but ther was just one.also no stores had one I could physically feel n test.I hope this helps someone.just go for a lil more of an investment on a better quality product that will last
