These socks are comfortable, durable (that's really important for me) and will keep you warm. They also dry pretty quickly for a heavy sock.

That said manage your expectations. During sub-zero weather in Iceland there was only so long I could stay outdoors before my toes started feeling the bite. If you're going out under those conditions get a thinner liner sock. Multiple layers will always beat one thick layer.

Use this sock for winter climbing in the Adirondack High Peaks. My feet stay warm and comfortable even on longer hikes. Would definitely recommend this product.

Darn Tough Vermont makes some darn tough socks! These are as good or better than any wool socks I've worn in the past. They are cushy, warm, and appear durable. I'll buy them again.
