CINDY M The door opening is just as it shows on the photo. The zippers at the bottom are on each side of the center zipper, going almost all the way to corner.
A very large and spacious door access. We have a queen size, double height, air mattress and we were able to fill it up outside the tent (because of access to the generator) and easily got it into the tent. Not like our old tent that we struggled to get the mattress inside.
Only draw back to me is that there isn't a door at the rear of the tent. When the description used the term "double door" I assumed that there was a second door, not just two doors at the front. Our old tent actually had two sets of doorways and I wanted another tent with that feature.
But I am very pleased with this tent! To find all the seams already waterproofed and the bottom seam is actually placed 2 inches above the ground was great! I believe this tent is going to be wonderful in our first heavy rain!

Wade c Thanks, do you think you will miss having a rainfly?
CINDY M The two times that we have used the tent, since we got it, it has not rained. So, in an answer, No we don't miss it. Certainly makes it much easier putting it up, not having to worry about a rainfly and securing it. Although, we do use a setup we made, of a large tarp with poles and put that over all the tents we have had. With our old tents, it was a matter of more protection from rain than just then tent, but it also provides shade in the mornings to keep the sun from beating down on the tent (making it too hot to sleep late) and also to keep acorns from plopping down on the tent all night long.
I think you would enjoy this tent. It goes up (and down) very quickly! Very spacious inside and great air circulation. I am very pleased with it. In fact, two other families in our camping group have now purchased this tent, after seeing ours.
Wade c Thanks for your help Cindy!
