This bag is great for a day pack. Has enough room for a change of clothes, rain gear, shoes, etc. It is HIGHLY adjustable which I love, plus the red is just the right color.

this pack does it all, from carrying just about everything you can think to take on a one or two day hike, to being light and compact enough to go on a hard bike ride. i love how well it keeps the water cold, my glasses would fog up when i took them out after being in the media pocket. it did condensate like any other bladder would but the way it is designed keeps the stuff in the bottom of your pack completely dry. the straps were so comfortable i carried it completely full every day for a week with no added fatigue. the handles are in the perfect spot for easy carrying when off your back, and the outside is tough as nails. the air flow design on the back keeps you cool and acts like a little air conditioner. i love this backpack and will buy it again and again, if it ever wears out.

I use it for5-10mile hikes around rocky mountain national park occasionally above the tree-line. It is comfortable,capacious & well designed

Plenty of storage for snacks, hat, sunscreen Etc. Water reservoir very easy to fill, add ice and clean for storage until the next use. Capacity of reservoir is enough for an all day 100 degree desert hike.
