Shopper This looks like a quality item at a excellent price. Will this work for a man? if not, why not? I am about 5'10 and 225 pounds.
MYSTI R No the shoulder straps would be too narrow and possibly not even long enough.
CHRISTY O Yeah I think it would be fine! I don't see why a man couldn't wear it! The tag had said that the straps were cut more for a woman but I don't think it was all that different. I use mine all the time. It's awesome. Bought mine 2 yrs ago almost and it's still holding up great!
ELLEN S I'm not sure - it is quite small. I'm around 5'4, and 140lbs, and it doesn't really carry quite as much as I'd hoped. Also, I think the straps are more contoured for a female figure.
JAY W It's a nice pack. I'm your height with broad shoulders and weigh about 165. Its not a huge pack, but will do fine for a day pack. I just tried it on and it's plenty comfortable empty. Should be fine with a load too as it has held up well. The waist and chest straps adjust way out. The shoulder straps are smallish but feel comfortable to me. It's not girly looking either. So yeah, I think it will probably work for you (depending on your intended use).
ABBIGALE W I think it would certainly work for a man. It's a GREAT pack and doesn't need to be gender specific. ;) I agree too, the price is VERY hard to beat. :)
