CAM D It's been done, not issues on planes*. Not the greatest pack for a bunch of poky climbing gear, though.
PHIL A It'll probably fit in the overhead, but doesn't have luggage-style handles and such. Very streamlined, mountain-specific design. Awesome for climbing and hiking, though.
KATHY H Domestic flights might work if you do not fill the pack all the way to the top, international flights seem to have smaller carryon luggage rules and it may bit work there. Flexible and lightweight is a feature of the pack, the frame will give a little.
CYRUS M You could carry it on-board overhead as long as you don't pack it too thick.
