Shopper Does SunnySports have a raincover that will fit this?

CRAIG M I did not purchase one from Sunny Sports, but the bag is easily compatible with a standard rain cover.

Katy K I don't see a place to select a size (s-l). Are these packs one-size-fits-all and just adjustable?

Zack W There is only one size available with a capacity 3350 cu in (55 liters).

CYNTHIA E No, but we encountered rain a few times and it was fine, nothing got wet inside.

ZHUORAN L the one I got didnt have rain cover, I dont think the US versions of rain covers, but the UK/Europe one does because when I saw some demo videos from the UK about this backpack they were shown with rain covers. Don't know why there's a difference, hope that helps.

KATIE S No it doesn't come with a rain cover. It's pretty water resistant but if you're expecting heavy rain then I'd suggested purchasing a separate cover.

Shopper Can this pack be used as a carry on?

JAMES M Yes and no. I've recently taken it on at least 10 US flights and international flights between Fiji and Australia and everyone responds differently to it. If it's completely full-- and trust me you can pack A LOT in that thing-- you'll have a really tough time trying to convince someone to let you take it as a carry on. If it's not stuffed, you shouldn't have a problem. If you want to play it safe, check in the bag but if you're willing to argue so that you don't have to pay-- you have a fair chance.

JACK S Yes it has been used as a carry on in Europe. However, you should check with each airline since their requirements and limits differ depending on the airline and flight. Requirements may be different depending on the airplane being used for a flight too.

CRAIG M yes, this pack is small enough to fit into the overhead compartment. Try not to over pack!

ADRIAN M This is a bit too large for a carry on. A 45 L would be perfect for that

MICHELLE A Probably not, it is a rather large pack. The airlines provide exact measurements for carry on baggage on their websites. I checked mine because some of the contents were not allowed in the cabin, so I can't be sure.

AARON N On most airlines, yes, but I'm sure there are a few commuter planes you might have trouble with. It's a good idea to check with the airline in question, but it has fit every overhead bin my daughter has needed it to fit.

CINDY L The backpack had all of the features but ended up being a little too small for the purpose we were looking for. We were going to be backpacking thru Italy for three+ weeks. However, we did keep w/North Face Terra...it is a 65, I believe. We really liked the zipper feature so that youcould get to the middle of the pack without undoing it all. Very comfy fit & carry. Hope this helps.

EVA K I really liked the quality of the bag. Although if you intend on moving from hotel to hotel like I did, you probably would want to find a bag with a side zip/load as this is top load only. It also does not come with a rain cover like some bags do. Overall, I am satisfied with what it has to offer for me.

CRAIG M Yes, I bought this pack for my wife. She is very petite and the pack fits her perfectly! It's comfortable and has great padding on the straps and hip belt. I wish it was a little bigger so she could carry more gear but I guess that's why my pack is larger in cubic inches! Hope this helps. Great deal for the money!

DAMIEN R I bought this for my 12yo daughter (now 14) who is under 100lb 5'2". She loves it and it has lots of adjustments so it has been great as she grows she uses it for back country backpacking and has been out for up to 8 days. We do lots of overnighters (maybe a dozen) and 2 nighters with tough hikes in and out as well as easy school trips. It is tough adn I have done no repairs so we are happy with this pack

I love how adjustable the straps are. Good size and price. The side zipper to access the main section of the bag is a great idea. My husband paid more for his backpack and it doesn't have this feature.
