Scott D what is the difference between this jacket and the north face bionic or the north face mckinley..... what are they rated for as far as temprature goes....what temps would you wear all 3 of them at?
WILLIAM A I have both. The Bionic is micro fleece lined and a bit warmer. The Nimble really is a light jacket with the stretch shell as the only layer. I wouldn't wear the nimble in cold weather but it's good for spring/fall days. Hope that helps!
CHRISTOPHER H I can't speak for the other jackets you mentioned but I can give you some insight into the Nimble Jacket. It's made of a thin stretchy material good for temps down to the mid 50's. It's the perfect jacket for cool early mornings, light misty days or in the afternoon as the sun goes down. It is an OK wind stopper but not one to cut through cold strong winds. A great jacket to cram in a pack for hiking, tie around your waist or even on a plane as it is very light. You can crush this jacket into a lap top bag and pull it out and wear it like it is brand new every time. A great all around jacket to own but not one for chilling winds or very cold weather.
JOSH D This jacket is lighter and more stretchy than the other two (hence the name nimble). It's is very versatile/comfortable and is great for Spring and Fall. I would say this jacket is meant for temperatures between 55 and 70 degrees.
