Comments about The North Face Longhaul 30 Wheeled Travel Pack:

Since I bought this bag in mid-2011, I had three long-haul travels from US to Europe and than within Indian Ocean region. This bag is very comfortable to use and have very good external look. Unfortunately its construction and materials are not suitable for 'normal' handling by airline companies (United, Air France, Emirates, South African). Its hard internal bottom structure makes nylon fabric of the bag very sensitive to external impact. Bag corners and edges are poorly protected. Visible tearing appears after the first trip. In the second trip I've got first rupture of fabric and in the third trip - another one; both in the bottom and wheel areas of the bag. So now I have two holes in the bag and believe new holes will appears soon (next trip is within three weeks). I don't think that such a fast rupture is correspond to normal 'normal wear and tear'.

The Longhaul 30 is a great travel bag. I have used it on trips of a coulple of days and couple of weeks. It is spacious, light weight, durable, well balanced, and easy to pull.
