I live in a place that is extremely windy. I was debating on this model or spending twice as much for the "wind proof" one, worrying that this would not be enough. It definitely is thick enough for freezing, piercing winds. Glad I bought this one.

I really liked this product, but the only reason i didn't give it five stars was because the band the thicker than expected... or at least what i expected. I don't mean material wise, because that is fine, (nice, warm, and cozy). However, I mean the width of the band. But this issue just means it will keep you more warm in colder conditions. Totally not a deal breaker. I love this product and would purchse another if I go any where freezing!
