This tent work well for my two Boy Scouts (small adult sized) and their dad (6'3") on a recent backpacking adventure. All three fit in the tent to sleep the two nights of their adventure. Also, divded between the three backpacks it didn't add much weight at all.

I got a three person tent with the goal of using it for two people. However, it is smaller than I thought even with that in mind. I've only used it once and we did end up cramming three people (1 guy, 2 girls). We put the fly on and we had a dog in each vestibule. Great place for your dog to sleep if you don't want him in the tent. It was not rainy or windy the night I used it so I can't comment on the windproof or rainproof capabilities.
