Love this tent.
You can use it with just the tent, or just the fly alone. Set up very easy, even in the dark during a good rain! Nice to be able to set up the fly first in the rain, than the tent under its cover.
We used this tent almost every night during our 71 day bicycle tour through Europe, late Sept. into early Nov. It kept us warm and dry through near gale winds and rain in Ireland, and Scotland, and warm through very heavy frosts in France. It has since been on many other camping trips, and is still going strong.
The only improvement I can think of is to give the fly a bit of an overhang at the vestibule doors, (yes, there are two) though no rain ever got in, but we worried about it.
The only thing I didn't like was the bright orange color, so we just bought the same tent in green.
The price is AMAZING for something so darn good. We explored other tents before we got our new green one, but this one is the same size, or a bit bigger, and includes the footprint, and the Gear Loft, which the others don't and they cost more... Go figure!

This tent is very easy and fast to set up, and to take down. It's well made, has roomy vestibules, has pockets in the corners, and comes with both a footprint and a gear loft. The rain fly has vents on both sides that you can pop open or leave closed. I have not used the tent in the rain so I cannot comment on how waterproof it is, but condensation has not been a problem.

The floor is tapered rather than rectangular, so you have to make sure that the tent and footprint are oriented the same way. They are color coded, and after you set it up a few times its no problem. I do not care for the plastic "windows" in the rain fly, but that's just a preference. Overall a very nice tent.

I bougth this tent on sale to supllement an older Kelty 2P tent. It has p[erformed admirablby in the field under heat, and rain. No leaks and an ample fly for gear stowage. It is a good buy for the value conscious camper.
