These are great when playing golf in the late fall - early winter before snow makes the course unplayable. Use them when the temperature is about 43 or lower. It won't feel like they're helping when temp is in the low 30's, but when you finish and take them out of your pocket on the 19th hole, you'll see that they're still warm and that they were indeed working. They work even through Footjoy winter golf gloves, and are an absolute must if you don't have those gloves.
They make Hotties for your shoes, too. They were a lifesaver at last year's Bears-Packers playoff game in Jan 2011.
