I ordered a size 9 since I usually wear a size 9.....this feels like a size 12! Very upset about this. I even bought shoe inserts that are meant for a size 13 and they fit this boot without me having to cut them to fit! These boots are useless to me now. What a waste of money.

I've been using these boots here in central Wisconsin for about a month, and I am happy with the purchase. They are completely waterproof and VERY warm, my feet stay toasty and dry on the coldest Wisconsin nights. They are not the most breathable boot, but I only notice my feet sweating when I'm wearing them indoors. The Hunters are a bit on the heavy side, but that's to be expected. Obviously they are completely water-tight, and comfortable in the rain too. I would recommend buying them a size smaller than your normal shoes. I wear a size thirteen shoe, and had to return mine to get a size 12. I have my old New-Balance insoles in mine right now, and it makes the boots a lot more comfortable to walk in, and tightens up the fit a tad.[$] dollars for Canadian-made boots was a steal, and would purchase again in a heartbeat. If you're looking for a Fall-Spring rain/snow/torrential storm boot, this is it.

You can't beat wool to keep your feet warm and dry. These boots have thick wool felt liners. I use them for winter to go out in the woods or out in the snow and they keep my feet warm and dry regardless of the temperature. I also use them year round to clean out the barn every day. The wool liners seem to prevent overheating in the summer when you wear them for 30 or so minutes at a time. Of course, they are rubber, so they are totally waterproof. They last me about three years before the liners wear out and the boots start to crack and leak. Please recall, however, I use them every day, year round.
