bill d I wear a size 9 1/2 mens boot, gortex so alittle bigger than a usual boot. What size should I get?
LYNN G Bill, I bought these last year after trying several other brands and I just love them. They are well worth the price. I found that the sizing chart is very accurate. I wear a mens size 10 and bought the large. They fit perfect over my oversized Baffin boots. I use them for icefishing. Hope this helps.

THOMAS O Men's size medium (7-10.5) is what I wear for a size 11.5 running shoe that I wear for backpacking. I have to stretch it a bit, but I like the security of a tight fit which limits possible roll with loose fitting spikes. I would think the Men,s M will be a good snug fit.
KEVIN L I also wear a 9.5. Currently using a medium microspikes on the Patagonia das boot mid, with great results. No slippage and easy on/off.
JOHN D I Bill. I hope that you haven't placed your order yet? The previous answer I'm afraid is simply incorrect. Kahtoola rates/sizes their MICROspikes on a separate scale for "Light Hikers" (even with full Gortex / XCR ) vs "Boots" ( even as a full Mountaineering model ). As you are a Mens 9.5 and asking specifically for "Boots" ( with Gortex / XCR to boot... no PUN intended ) and not simply a "Light Hiker", you definitely need the size Large. I wear size 8 to 8.5 shoes and therefore I went with the Medium size for my Boots ( which also happens to just fit my Light Hikers without being too loose However you, like my Wife, fall right in the middle and need a size Large for your Boots and a size Medium for your Light Hikers. You can always try your size Large once you get them to see how loose they fit on your regular Hiking shoes, but likely they will be too lose ( not at all what you want ). On the flip side a size Medium would be so stretched on you 9.5 Boots that you'll just endup breaking them way before their time ( If you even manage to get them on at all ).
Zack W A medium would fit properly. Enjoy it! Zack.
