Vickie G It says the sleeping bag goes in the front load compartment with divider. From the information chart that is the bottom zipped compartment. How do you get a sleeping bag in there?
ANDREW R Even though my son has a very compact sleeping bag, we have not tired to put it in that compartment. We just bungee cord it below the pack to the frame. Save the compartment space for clothes. Hope this helps
TIM L The real question I think is what kind of sleeping bag will fit. I have had this pack and It's worked great! It's an external frame pack, so you could attach a sleeping bag on the top or bottom of the frame, however, you don't want to have a bulky down or cotton sleeping bag for this pack. I would recommend what I do, and use a light weight "mummy" style sleeping bag with a compression sack to minimize the volume. If you do that, I know you wont have any problems with the outside pockets size.
