Got this for colder days and camping, when I wanted the extra core warmth but without restricting my arms. Bottom of jacket cold air drawstrings located at lower inside of jacket sides. Nice external and internal pockets. Warm and breaks the wind, but without a lot of bulk or weight.

Really great value for the sale price. The sizing is accurate and the fit is good. The vest is well constructed, is quite light, and packs down to about the size of a large fist. The internal pockets are well sized for maps and the exterior pockets are well placed. The zipper is smooth and the adjustable waist is a nice-to-have feature. At the sale price, I feel that this is one of the best value purchases I have made in a long time!

I found the vest to be adequately warm down to the upper-30's and I didn't feel any wind penetration at 15 mph. Coupled with a light fleece jacket, I stayed acceptably warm down to 25 degrees. If you are cold-natured, you might need something a little more insulated at those temperature ranges (650 fill or better).
