JAMES R I have never used with anything other than GSI. I bought it to replace one that came with a GSI set. Sorry I can't be more help.

CHRISTOPHER S Hi- Actually, I bought it as an extra handle for a GSI Bugaboo Backpacker cookset & it barely fit those pans. The business end of the gripper has a flat piece attached to the lower handle that fits inside the pot &, when the 2 handles are squeezed, grabs the pot like a pliers. The Bugaboo pots have a rolled lip which the gripper didn't mate well with. It worked OK after I man-handled the gripper with some needle-nose pliers to create some space at the top of the 'pliers' area, but not optimal. Bottom line- it does NOT like pots with thick rolled rims. If your pot has a lip like that, I'd keep looking. good luck, Chris
