Dan N Does this tent come with the vestibule or is that an extra purchase?
MARK I The full close vestibule is a separate purchase on the site for $56.95. But keep in mind that there is a front flap type closure, shown in the photos, that can be used as a vestibule. It comes across the front and can be completely closed.
This is an awesome tent. I camp with a Boy Scout troop often and the tent is very versatile. The rain fly will keep the cold and rain out. When it's warm you don't even have to use the rain fly and the extensive screening has ventilation coming from all sides. That's the main reason I bought this model of Timberline was for the ventilation. I live in Florida.
Hope that helped! Good luck!

RANDY H Yes. The vestibule is a great asset to the tent. The tent sets up easy and works well in moderate winds.
DAVID E There is a vestibule. It is part of the fly and can be placed at either end the opposite end becoming the entrance. Enjoy.

KELSEY W The vestibule is an extra purchase, but the rain fly that comes with the tent has some extension out over the doors.
CHRIS H The Eureka Timberline SQ 4XT Tent includes a vestibule. (I believe the vestibule is only an extra purchase for the SQ 6XT (6 person tent). Here's Eureka's description on the SQ4XT: "We have improved weatherproofness by lengthening the fly and extending the ends of the fly to create vestibule ?wings? for added wet weather protection to the door and windows."
On one side, the "wings" are longer than usual, and on the other side, the "wings" create a true vestibule because they drop all the way to the ground. There's enough space for our shoes and our 70 pound dog, who joins us in the tent if it is cold and he is not wet :)
GEOFFREY B The vestibule is part of the rain fly.
TIM L I believe that you are looking at a 4 man tent that comes with a vestibule on each door (one on each end) which are vey handy for keeping boots/gear out of the tent and out of the weather as well.
That said, there are several models of the Timberline tent so be sure if you order over the internet you know excatly which model you want and I would clarify the return policy in the event you end up with something other than what you want. Hope this helps.
ALLAN S One vestibule is permanently attached to the fly. There is a separate vestibule for the other side but that's an additional purchase.
John M There is a vestibule built into the rain fly of the timberline sq 4 xt We purchased an additional vestibule for the other door. We have not had to use the second one. We did get the foot print. I highly recommend this tent and the foot print. We also have the Timberline 6 sq outfitter. It is bigger and taller. The 6 dies not come with a vestibule. We bought a vestibule for 6. Sometimes we use it, sometimes we don't. Both are great tents.
