RANDY O The weight is listed under the specifications tab, click on it to see the weight. The weight of the tent body itself is 1lb 3 oz. With the carrying bag and minimalist stakes it is 1lb 8oz. You'll need a pair of trekking poles to set it up and the weight of those is seperate. I prefer to bring a few addtional tent stakes than the minimum. If you are snow camping, you'll need snow stakes or field gathered sticks to anchor the tent as the standard stakes are too small for use on snow. Also note that this tarp/tent has no floor or mosquito netting. I think full length foam pads are sufficent for damp ground protection. You do have to be more carefull with site selection in wet weather than with a full tent with a "bathtub" floor. I use a mosquito head net for bug protection.
