Still a bit long when fully collapsed making them hard to pack away for carrying on pack. Nice poles for day hikers.

These are nice entry level poles and are comfortable to use. The flip type adjusters will make you throw away your old screw adjustment type poles! I wish they would compact just a bit smaller for carry in luggage when traveling by air.
