My dad loves these pants. We have been hiking and camping regularly for the past 5-6 years now. I have been trying to convince him to try hiking or trail pant for almost that whole time. He finally brought a pair of white sierras in a shop just outside Rocky Mountain National Park, and proceeded to pack them for the next 3 trips. He packed them but never wore them. Finally on our trip up the rocky mountains this summer he put them on in the Tetons. He proceeded to wear them the entire rest of the trip. Additionally he brought another wear when he returned. He packed and wore both pair in the smoky's over thanksgiving break. Lastly, he asked for another pair in preparation for a trip this summer up into Canada. Needless to say, my dad has been converted to the hiking pants way of life.

Perfect for hiking Rocky Mountain National Park! Light-weight but warm for the cooler mornings and very comfortable as the temperature climbed to the upper 70's. Converted easily to shorts on a warmer day. Awesome pants for a very reasonable price!

I wear a 36 X 30 pant. I ordered the large X 30 inseam. The waist fits perfect, the inseam is longer than a normal 30, maybe a 32. You can’t shorten them easily since there’s a hook and loop strap and a zipper at the bottom. There’s 9 belt loops that can fit up to a 2” belt. The plastic clasp on the included 1” weave belt is a little chintzy. They shed water very well. 100% nylon but they have a cottony look feel. Very tight weave, breathability is very minimal. Back wallet pocket barely fits a typical mans wallet. (6 X 5.5) The right side pocket fits my Galaxy S8 that’s in a small profile case (Spigen) perfectly length wise with an inch to spare width wise. (7 X 4) Front thigh pockets are 8” deep X 7” wide. All zippers seem to be high quality nylon, nondescript brand. All the seams seem to be done very well and tight with high quality thread, most are double stitched. Sunny Sports shipping was prompt and packaging was good.

I love these pants. Ordered my 3rd and 4th pair, and they’ve replaced jeans as my main casual pants. I use them as shorts in the summer. Lotsa pockets. Grippy velcro on side & back pockets keeps contents from falling out while physically active. The fabric is very light and dries quickly, but it’s held up well to a lot of hiking. Velcro at cuffs is handy for fitting around or into boots. The “bark” color is greener than it appeared on the website. Thought it’d be browner.

Bought them for my collage age son. He wears this style of pants all the time. He says they are a bit tight through the thighs but only after he fills his pockets with everything he needs for the day and won't put in his backpack. I plan to buy more of these in the future.
