This travel liner is exactly what I was looking for. It is lightweight, comfortable and a reasonable price. I tested it at home and will be using it for my trip to the Camino Frances.

I haven't tested this yet in travels. but on my bed, it's gonna work great! the rip stop pattern in the weave gives it strength and stability. The size is generous and the stretchy edges are what sold me on the sea to summit model bc i am a side sleeper that likes to flip sides without having to wake up, so the stretchy sides will make that possible without me getting tangled up in it, or trying to be careful so as not to put stress on the stitches. I bought this for multi country travels. so none of the categories (hiking, paddling ect, fit )

Silk liner felt great. Just glad I had something to separate me from the actual bag. I wish the corners of the liner like... Pinned to the corners of the sleeping bag or something though. It's very messy trying to place it into the bag and sleep in it.

Quality liner at a low weight. A bit pricey but I plan to use this for both camping as well as my travel sheet when staying at hotels. Seen too much about how disgusting hotel beds can be, so the thought of having a layer between me and the sheets is comforting.

A sleep sack of some sort is required gear for the Tour du Mont Blanc, where you stay in mountain lodges. We carried our own gear, so everything had to be lightweight and functional. This sack did the job, was elegant and light, and a pleasure to sleep in

One needs the pouch for the pillow otherwise the liner gets too easilly messed up with the sleeping bag. Also, the silk is wonderful in its ability to keep the moisture out. I use it now all the time in motels also. Therefore take the travel liner and only the pure silk one, I recommend everyone.

Stretches, thanks to side panels, very thoughtful design. Worse the money. Best design out there for side sleepers

I used this on a fourteen hour flight, and it was perfect. Packed small, and kept me warm and snuggy. I was able to put it over my head and slept soundly on the plane. I also planned to use it in hotels, but didn't need it.

Used it every night while staying in guesthouses in Nepal, and it gave me an extra sense of cleanliness. Very comfortable to sleep in. Easy to pack and carry--small, lightweight.

This is my newest addition to my liners. I have had three for several years and use them often when travelling. None have worn out, I just like to have multiples around for visitors or in case of loss. They are a great wrap on airplanes, great for sleeping in or under in airports and at destinations and excellent liners for sleeping bags. I purchased this one for an upcoming trip to Laos. I only with the storage bags were still made like a little stuff sack. They were much easier to store the liner, just shove it in - the zipper storage, while it looks nice, is more difficult to get the liner in and behaving while zipping up.

Smooth, light and stretchy. It is less shiny then other silk liners i have used in the past. But i presume this has something to do with its ripstop qualities as well.

It?s lightweight and comfortable to sleep in. I like that I don?t have to deal with a zipper. After washing it, I have not be able to get it back into the tiny stuff sack but I?m thinking that I may just store it in my sleeping bag when on the trail.

For 26 years, forty+ days each summer tent camping and guiding wilderness rafting/fly fishing expeditions here in Alaska; the Sea To Summit silk sleeping bag liner is my go to for reasons that have already been mentioned by scores of people in their reviews. I've just replaced my most recent Silk Traveller after 5+ years, and 200+ nights, of faithful service. The liner has probably been machine washed and dried 30 or so times.. I prefer a rectangular sleeping bag because I don't like to be confined; the Travel liner (or the mummy version) is the ultimate: ease of entry, keeping sleeping bag and pillow clean, temperature control, and...comfort. Imagine sleeping in silk sheets...in the wilderness. It's good.

Very comfortable and breathable. Excellent for warmer weather and lightweight/packable! I also used it as a supplement to add a few degrees to my top quilt which also kept my quilt clean too!

I chose this liner because it packs small and is light enough for backpacking. I occasionally guide trips through very muddy slot canyons and wanted a barrier between by muddy body and my expensive down sleeping bag. This does the trick. I probably won't use a liner for most other trips in which I am not wet and muddy. The fabric is soft and feels nicer on my skin than slippery sleeping bag fabric. And it's easier to get in and out of than I expected. I stand up and step into the liner as if I was steeping into a pair of pants. Then I hop into the sleeping bag. I did have a little trouble keeping the mummy top covering my head, it wants to scoot down by my shoulders. That's fine, it just means it's not protecting the sleeping bag from my greasy hair. With more practice I will probably figure it out. Good purchase.

Liner is light, comfortable. Works great! I use it often when I visit friends. Why should they have to launder sheets after my one night stay.

This silk liner is very comfortable and can be washed in the washer. I used it alone for a warm weather sleepover with kids and also as backup for an ultralight backpacking trip. Besides being lightweight and packing small, it did not bind on my body when I slept in it. It feels breathable, adding light warmth.

I use an ultra light sea to summit sleeping bag so the warmth on below freezing nights is questionable. This liner gives me added warmth and when I have to wash everything to keep from smelling like most thru hikers, I just wash my liner as the fabric washes easily. The weight was the lightest I could find at my time of purchase.

Did I need it? No. Was I glad that I got it? Heck, yes! Nice to have my dirty body a this cozy liner between my filthy, exhausted, healthy body and my clean sleeping bag.

Strong silk no tears after a five day backpack with loads of tossing and turning . 45 degree nights and seldom threw my bag on top. Bright & cheery colours! Happy I bought it before my trip.

There?s nothing worse than breaking camp only to spend a half hour trying to stuff gear into a stuff sack that?s too small by half. I?m sure Sea to Summit wanted to brag about how small this liner packs up, but requiring your customers to purchase a stuff sack that fits isn?t any way to win friends and loyalty. I should deduct more than one star, but I do like the liner itself.

Perfect for summer backpacking
By Jaimie A.
This silk liner is the most comfy piece of gear I never knew I needed. It?s the perfect size to go inside a bag or quilt, the material is breathable and nice on your skin (like a flat sheet on your bed) and keeps my quilt from sticking to me or getting dirty. I used it by itself on my last summer backpacking trip where the temps only dipped into the 70s at night. Totally worth the few ounces of weight and minimal space.
