The Petzl Rescue Pulley is very strong and efficient: ideal for rescue, hauling heavy loads and intensive use. It has a hole big enough for three carabiners. This is great for a top-rope setup because it allows you to use two for hookup to the anchors, and one to drop down below the biner for the climbing rope to feed through as a backup. This model has smoother edges, and even smoother feed. It s two thumbs up for sure. The Petzl Rescue Pulley is also recommended as a climbing pulley! Since it s so easy to pull rope through, it's great for climbing. It only weighs 185 g. and can handle ropes from 7mm. minimum to 13mm. diameters maximum. The pulley is made of aluminum side panels with an aluminum sheave and has a working load of 4kN. X 2 = 8 kN. And a breaking strength of 36 kN.
