Pick your rash guard carefully
I purchased this shirt for a scuba diving trip to Australia. It was thin and provided little to no warmth for diving in waters around 72F. When I got out of the water and the wind hit me the shirt would immediately cool down and make me freeze. So for my situation it was not ideal, but in the summer time this is exactly what you want. It would provide protection from the sun and not make you super hot when you get out of the water. Pick this shirt for summer time protection
