I spent about fifteen hours researching tents, and the Halo 4P is what I chose. This tent is awesome! Marmot did a great job with the design. My wife and I car camped four nights in Vermont, and I'm so glad I spent a little extra to get this tent. The first night we arrived at the campsite late, and it was beginning to rain. So, I hurried setting up the tent(very easy), but didn't put the halo poles in. I quickly threw the rainfly on, and we slept that night in a torrential downpour and a lot of wind the whole night. Gladly, the tent held up in that mess without ripping apart. Some other features this tent has that you may not see online is there are small hanging loops (five I think) on the inside ceiling to hang smaller lights, or a camping fan as I did. There are also pockets on the inside walls for items. One great feature is the double door, each with it's own vestibule. On both side walls there's a large zipper to open for more air circulation. Also, in the top part of the rainfly there are two small openings to allow for more air circulation. And, the "halo" design gives a more roomy interior verses their competitors. If there was a negative about this tent, I wish you could Velcro the vestibule flap away for going in and out of the tent without stepping on it. Furthermore, Sunny Sports did a great job with the ordering process without me having any trouble, and I received the package within five days. Thanks Sunny Sports.

I already own the halo 6p for family camping, but wanted the smaller 4P version for when I go camping by myself. It's an 8ft x8 ft tent, which has comfortable room for a queen mattress and one single. Would sleep 3 people with room, 4 people would be tight. Air circulation is top notch. These tents are made to withstand wind and stay dry in the rain, which they do. Easy up, easy down...by myself I can set this tent up in less than 10 minutes with the rainfly. Marmots are not cheap, at least compared to Coleman or Eureka, or any of the 'store bought' tents. That said, they are worth the money, especially if you have learned to 'buy once'. Small word about SunnySports. These guys are great. I had purchased a lesser product (i should have known not to buy a coleman but was feeling cheap) which I wound up returning - the return policy was simple and everyone was easy and quick to talk to in their support/customer service center. Oh...and their prices are the best on the internet. 5 star rating!
